There is no reason there should not be full regular season back to the old divisions next year.
If employers can already get access to vaccines and offer to all employees and their families there is no reason the NHL should not have this done already. |

The only reason it would possibly be back is if the teams in the North want it as it gives a better chance at getting further in the playoffs. All players will have both shots by summer. The league will go back to normal in the fall. If it isn’t then that means there are much much bigger issues. |

problem is there's no guarantee with the border. the NHL has to be prepared in the event that NHL teams still cannot come into Canada to play games next October. |

Then go with presented option #2 - put the divisions back to normal and let the Canadian teams play their Canada games at the beginning of the season.

Maybe in the US, but not in Canada. Only people over the age of 50 (general population) have had access to vaccines (they started offering limited quantities of the astrazeneca vaccine to people over the 45 this week)... Teachers have yet to be vaccinated... what a poop show!

Oh good, another year of the very best of the best, playing insulated hockey amongst themselves. I'm on pins and needles, with baited breath, waiting to see who gets to be crowned with the Memorial Cup this year. And now you tell me there is another year of this fantastic set up? The Eastern division clubs must be thrilled... |

That's terrible. This far into it it should be open to everyone 16 and older. |

we won't have the supply for that until June/July unfortunately. we're dependent on EU exports. |

The US is going to have excess supply soon due to, well, let's just call it less demand than there should be. They need to work out a deal to start sending the excess to other countries and Canada would be a great place to start.

I understand it's for the better of public safety but this format has killed my interest this season. |

Better to be safe than sorry. Look how many millions died in open states like Florida and Texas. Meanwhile locked down states like New York and California were so much safer. If Fauci says we need another fifty two weeks to flatten the curve don't question it. Just do as you're told. |

It hasn't killed my interest but I agree that it's a terrible format.

You must be a flaming liberal to make such an idiotic statement like that...How stupid and ignorant are you? The 2 States with the most deaths are New York and California by far...61,216 and 52,022..where Governors forced nursing homes to take in Covid patients and killed the elderly by the thousands...Florida has 34,712 by comparison and Texas has 49,973, with an influx of thousands of cases crosiing the border since jan 20 of this year...and thousands of those positive cases are being distributed across the US to a City near you...
On the Hockey side, I like the Divisions and would add Seattle to the Canadian division or Detroit or Buffalo. Have a home/home against each team inthe league and then divisional play the remainder with the current series setup to increase the rivialries
